Spray Water Centre
Eastbourne
This building on Eastbourne seafront is used as a base for water sports, such as surfing and canoeing, and took 19 weeks to build. It has hot showers, changing rooms and a large area for training and additional space for the storage of all the water sports equipment.
The works for this project comprised of demolition of the existing building and the construction of a new building with reinforced concrete strip foundations.
The ground floor walls are concrete with first floor walls timber clad in red cedar wood, with a metal covered insulated timber pitched roof.
