Westridge are a privately owned Main Contractor formed in 1990 with offices based in Kent, Sussex and Surrey. We operate throughout the South East and employ 190 staff including over 80 site technicians.
The whole Company adopts a flexible approach on construction projects which typically range between £2m – £15m and have a depth of knowledge across the full range of contract types and procurement routes. This, reinforced by our strong core values, enables us to work with our Clients and Supply Chain to produce affordable, quality buildings to a reliable time frame.
Introducing The Management Team…
As a co-founder of Westridge Steve brings over 40 years of experience and a thorough, professional approach to the business. His high level of commercial acumen, balanced with an innate sense of fairness, underpins the business approach in its relationships with clients, our own staff and suppliers. This plays a major role in the company’s successful growth and development in which he continues to take great pride.
Since jointly founding Westridge in the early 1990’s Steve has spent most of the period since then as our Managing Director. His wealth of experience and insight provide the strategic leadership necessary to continually develop both the business and our people to serve our clients needs.
Martin joined Westridge as a Chartered Construction Manager and has been responsible for the management of a comprehensive and diverse range of construction projects involving most forms of construction and a varied mix of procurement routes. Taking over the role of Managing Director, Martin is a keen advocate of continuous learning and development and aims to ensure that all staff are supported and enthused. This coupled with his ability to inspire others to extend their thinking makes him a natural leader.
Utilising many years experience gained with various contracting organisations across a number of sectors Duncan now leads a team of surveyors responsible for commercial activities throughout the company.
As a highly motivated and commercially minded manager, Dave and his team work to meet exceptional targets in a broad range of projects. Since joining the business in 1993, Dave has seen our turnover grow considerably and his team has evolved to meet our constantly demanding needs.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Commencing his career as a Site Manager then moving into Contracts Management, Jamie has gained over 20 years experience working on most types of contracts. Ranging from design and build to partnered and refurbishment to new build. He is now responsible for the Business Development Department and developing and maintaining relationships with clients throughout the business. Jamie is also a full member of the CIOB.
With over 21 years construction industry experience working throughout London and the South East. Martyn has completed a variety of complex refurbishment projects in challenging environments, along with the construction of several large concrete and steel frame structures.
