The works comprise the demolition of the existing surgery and the phased construction of a new 4 storey surgery comprising consulting and treatment rooms, pharmacy, reception and waiting rooms, administrative offices and welfare facilities.
The development will provide modern, fit for purpose and integrated primary care premises, serving more than 16,000 local patients.
External works will be undertaken in phases to allow the existing medical centre to continue practicing whilst partial construction of the building is undertaken and completed. On completion, the existing medical centre will relocate to allow the existing medical centre to be demolished and the remaining building built.
