Working with Barchester Healthcare and Fed3 Projects Limited we have been instructed to build a 55 bed care home using traditional masonry and a caltite basement.
Comprised over four floors the new high-quality care home will include modern bedrooms, communal lounges, dining rooms and shared community spaces on each floor fostering a community feel.
The site has been cleared including safety work to protected trees. The basement has been excavated by our in-house groundworks team and lift pits have been blinded with concrete. Southern Piling have completed the piles for the tower crane and the base has been installed. Drainage works have commenced with foul water drains diverted and drainage for the basement level is being installed.
Thank you to our site manager Jim Demel and the team on site for all their hard work, we look forward to coming back in a few months’ time for our next update.
