Albion Street, Southwick

We are delighted to be working with Adur and Worthing District Council to deliver their first new council homes for 30 years which are desperately needed to meet the growing need within the district.
This will be the Council’s largest development to date providing 49 quality units, overlooking Shoreham harbour.
The new apartments will be constructed across two residential blocks and will incorporate PV panels and green roofs.
Both buildings will be of piled raft foundations, masonry frame superstructures and incorporate under croft parking. They will provide unique facades including brick-clad flying beams and columns, forming a ‘picture frame’ aesthetic.
A particular challenge to this project will be the location. Albion Street is within close proximity to the railway line and is the A259 coastal road between Brighton and Shoreham by Sea, meaning extensive measures will be put in place to avoid disruption to the continuous, heavy flow of traffic.
