Working with Ashford Borough Council we are providing 34 apartments and 4 chalet bungalows, for private sale to the over 55’s.
The traditionally built flats are supplemented with a large communal lounge, laundry room, buggy store and guest rooms. The environmental credentials are boosted with a Green roof and a centralised heating system.
This is our fifth project working in partnership with West Sussex County Council on their Construction and Property Contractors Framework. Working within the live school environment we are providing a new science lab, food technology kitchen and teaching area. Works are also being carried out to extend the dining hall and relocate an existing canopy.
We are pleased to be working with Eastbourne Homes Limited on this project. Works will begin with the demolition of the existing houses before moving onto the design and construction of 12 traditionally built flats. To ensure sufficient natural light is provided to the rooms in the roof numerous dormers are being provided.
Having recently completed our first Passivhaus scheme for both Crawley Borough Council and ourselves, we are pleased to have again been appointed by them for the construction of four houses and two flats to Passivhaus standard.
Passivhaus development systems ensure that buildings are as energy efficient as possible. The buildings have high insulation levels, high performance doors, windows and air tightness, which are so efficient that a central heating system is not required.
It exceeds the building regulation minimum standards with triple glazing, 300mm wall insulation and a ventilation system providing filtered pre-warmed air.
The low energy use of these Passivhaus homes aims to reduce fuel poverty by providing low bills for residents. The high construction standard quality of these dwellings will ensure durability and comfort for the future.
We are currently working with Giarti Architects and SWP Engineers to construct thirty four new dwellings for Raven Housing Group. The project includes the demolition of a number of existing buildings. The new dwellings include twenty, 1 or 2 bedroom flats and fourteen, 2 bedroom timber frame houses.
Works also include soft and hard landscaping to the areas surrounding the new properties.
We are proud to be working on the design and construction of forty four residential units made up of twenty two houses and twenty two flats for Crawley Borough Council. The properties vary in sizes from two bedroom flats up to four bedroom houses, including one flat built for wheelchair users.
The build consists of five blocks of timber framed terrace houses and four blocks of flats, including all related drainage, highways infrastructure and landscaping works.
